Given at the festival was a course on the training method of basic football techniques with the attendance of 9-12 year-old girls and coaches of juvenile sports schools.

A demonstration of football techniques was staged by trainees of Pyongyang International Football School, which was followed by girl footballers' display of dribbling, kicking and other techniques.

According to Kim Sang Hyop, deputy department director of the DPRK Football Association, the festival marked an important occasion in raising the professional qualifications of coaches and encouraging more schoolchildren to learn football.
