Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a commentary in this regard:

This is an anachronistic move of those obsessed with militarist ambition for reinvasion.

It is nonsensical for Japan to talk about "global peace" as it has inglorious past and is blinded with militarist ambition for reinvasion.

The Japanese ruling forces are making much fuss, creating impression that they were requested by the world to make a contribution to global peace. This is nothing but a cynical ploy to openly launch aggression under the pretext of ensuring "peace".

It was hypocritical for the chief executive of Japan to have uttered that it would not be involved in a war.

The revised "Japan-U.S. Defence Cooperation Guidelines" make it possible for the SDF to conduct military activities overseas any time for "cooperation" with the U.S. forces.

Moreover, when the draft amendment to the security law is adopted as a formal law, Japan will turn into a military giant and the integration of military operations between Japan and the U.S. will make more rapid progress.

And Japan will excessively exercise the "right to collective self-defense" which has been banned so far.

Japan's exercise of the "right to collective self-defense" precisely means a war. Japanese will find no alternative but to take part in war whether they like or not.

If Japan is allowed to go on as now, it is bound to go to ruin and will not be able to escape the same shame as what it suffered during World War II.

If the present ruling forces of Japan have even an iota of reasonable thinking, they should roll back their militarist policy at once.

This is the only way of saving Japan from total destruction.
