Epidemic Spreads in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- An old man infected with the serious feverish thrombopenia syndrome, the epidemic spread by wild tick, was reported from South Chungchong Province, south Korea on May 9, according to KBS of south Korea. The mortality rate is so high that 55 people were infected with the epidemic last year and 15 of them died. |
