Koreans in Japan Pay Tribute to Statues of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il

| Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- Koreans in Japan staying in the socialist homeland visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il at the Mansudae Art Studio Monday on the occasion of the 60th founding anniversary of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon). They included a group of Koreans in Japan for expressing thanks to the homeland on the 60th anniversary of Chongryon led by Pae Ik Ju, vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, and a delegation of veteran officials of Chongryon led by Pak Jong Sang, adviser to the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Korean Writers and Artists in Japan. They laid bunches of flowers before the statues and paid tribute to them. |
