The letter noted that a meeting of Koreans in Japan was held to convey his letter "Let Us Usher In a New Heyday of the Movement of Koreans in Japan True to the Intention of the Great Comrade Kim Jong Il" to Chongryon and compatriots in Japan on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Chongryon.

With ardent loyalty of all the Chongryon officials and compatriots in Japan, the Chongryon Central Standing Committee extends the deepest thanks and highest honor to Kim Jong Un for wisely leading the movement of Koreans in Japan to greater victory by personally sending his programmatic letter, it said.

His letter is important guidelines for the activities of Chongryon in the glorious era of Kim Jong Un as it indicates in an overall way the main orientation of Chongryon, the key task and the way for its implementation to bring about a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan by carrying out the behests of the great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, it added.

And it expressed the resolution of all the Chongryon officials and compatriots in Japan to unconditionally carry through the tasks set forth in the letter.
