The statement said:

The hostile forces have ever increased sanctions and threats to the DPRK which holds fast to the anti-imperialist independent stand.

They brought the "human rights issue" to the international arena to tarnish the prestigious dignity of the DPRK while staging military exercises against it in the vicinity of the Korean peninsula and even pulled up it over its satellite launch, legitimate right of a sovereign state.

These were, in essence, prompted by the political motivation of the hostile forces to stifle the DPRK, socialist country centered on the popular masses, regarding it as a thorn in their flesh.

We resolutely reject this and demand them stop such moves.
