Truth behind illegal political operations conducted by the IS in all fabrics of south Korean society is being disclosed one after another, the editorial said.

It has been opened to public by media that Won Se Hun, the former director of the IS, during his tenure of office met a conservative education inspector and instructed him to guard against members of the Teachers Union as part of the operation to outlaw the union, an illegal interference in the labor movement, the editorial noted, adding:

Won also issued a series of instructions to eliminate the forces critical of the regime after intentionally branding them as "left-wing forces following the north."

The present director of the IS asserted that it is impossible to talk about "north policy" as long as "followers of the north" are allowed to go scot-free, the editorial noted, adding: His contention is not different from Won's idea.

It was disclosed that the IS had stretched out its tentacles even to judicial organs. The IS should be held accountable for its illegal acts.
