Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Kwak Pom Ki, Kim Phyong Hae, Ro Tu Chol, Jo Yon Jun, Kim Yong Dae, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, and officials of the party, Cabinet, working people's organizations and power organs visited kindergartens including the kindergarten of Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill and 10-day kindergarten of the Sosamjong Vegetable Farm in Ryokpho District and nurseries and baby homes and orphanages to congratulate the children on the day.

They laid bouquets before the pictures of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il smiling among children and paid tributes to them.

They went round rooms dedicated to the histories of the relevant units, education rooms, nursing rooms, playgrounds and exercise rooms and appreciated the colorful sports and amusement games and art performances given by the children.

They requested the educators and nurses to do nursing and education for the children better and thus bring up them to be the successors to the revolution and reliable pillars of prosperous Korea.
