Sports Contest for Pochonbo Torch Prize Opens

| Hyesan, June 3 (KCNA) -- The Sports Contest for Pochonbo Torch Prize opened with due ceremony at Hyesan Stadium Wednesday to mark the anniversary of victorious battle in Pochonbo commanded by President Kim Il Sung during the anti-Japanese armed struggle. The contest will take place in Pyongyang, Hyesan, Hamhung, Sariwon, Phyongsong and other areas. The participants will compete in more than 30 events such as football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and wrestling. |
