Important Days of DPRK to Be Observed in Bangladesh

Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- A Bangladeshi preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th anniversaries of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea and the liberation of Korea was inaugurated on May 31 at the joint initiative of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist), the Bangladesh Communist Party, the Socialist Party of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh People's League, the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy and the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee.

MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee discussed the matters on arranging colorful political and cultural events for praising the exploits and wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un to mark the significant days with splendor.
