U.S. Harsher Sanctions Compel DPRK to Further Bolster up Nuclear Force: Russian Figure
Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- Alexandr Vorontsov, section chief of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, when interviewed by a broadcasting service recently, asserted that the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK harasses the security on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity.

A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK clarified in a recent statement that the nuclear weapon of the DPRK is a deterrent for self-defence to cope with the nuclear threat and threat of military aggression posed by the U.S., he recalled, adding:

This is also ascribable to the fact that the DPRK proposed all the countries concerned, notably the U.S., Japan and south Korea, substantial dialogue so many times but such efforts for resumption of dialogue was turned down and refused by them.

In January this year Obama again revealed the U.S. scheme to invade the DPRK.

So, there is no other way for the DPRK but to concentrate its efforts on bolstering up its capability for self-defence.

To this end, the DPRK is bolstering up its nuclear deterrent.

U.S. harsher sanctions aimed at isolating the DPRK is compelling the DPRK to beef up its nuclear force.
