But the south Korean puppet authorities, which have denied the joint declaration and refused to implement it, openly resorted to the moves to block the events in advance, claiming that they would decide whether to allow the events or not, according to the results of the three-way working-level contact. They interfered even in the working-level consultation among NGOs of the south for the agreement on the events and forced the south side's preparatory committees for the joint national events to change the venue of the events already agreed on and "depoliticize the events" in a desperate bid to scupper the events.

Answering to a question put by KCNA Friday in connection with it, a spokesman for the North Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration termed it a blatant challenge to the aspiration and desire of all Koreans for national reconciliation, unity and reunification and an unpardonable crime against the nation.

The puppet group self-exposed that it has not a slight will to implement the north-south declarations by desperately blocking the joint national events while insisting on their "non-political nature," the spokesman said, and continued:

After all, due to the deliberate moves of the puppet group, even the working-level consultation of NGOs of the north, the south and overseas came not to be held any longer and the joint national event marking the June 15 events was left with no choice but to be held separately in the north, the south and abroad.

As long as such traitors as Park Geun Hye escalating confrontation with the compatriots in the north are allowed to stay in office, would there be no improved north-south relations but a war.

The puppet group will be cursed and condemned by all Koreans for scuppering the joint national events and driving the north-south relations into a catastrophe.
