Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" and chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to widely introduce the revolutionary career and undying exploits of the President and arrange political and cultural events including seminar and film show on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of his demise.
