DPRK's Important Day Observed Abroad

| Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- Round-table talks, lectures and film shows took place in Uruguay, Ethiopia and Guinea from May 28 to June 2 to mark the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). On display at the venues of the events were works of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books introducing Songun Korea. Films shown included the Korean film "Our Country Emerging Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity." The international secretary of the Uruguayan March 26 Movement lauded Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's party-building leadership feats, the invincible might of the WPK and advantages of the Korean socialist system. Ethiopian personages praised Kim Jong Il as a great statesman recognized by the world, adding his party-building leadership exploits will shine forever. |
