At a three-way consultation with Japan and south Korea, the U.S. attempted to mislead public opinion by giving impression that they wanted dialogue but the DPRK declined it.

This is just a profound confusing of right and wrong.

It is a fact well known to the world that the DPRK has long insisted on the resumption of dialogue without precondition.

The U.S., though belatedly, should be aware of the fact that the decade-long hostile relations between it and the DPRK are ascribable to its fundamentally wrong viewpoint on the latter and complete ignorance of it.
