Members of the KCU across the country visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in their residential areas to lay floral baskets and bouquets and pay tribute to them.

Joint meetings of the KCU organizations took place in Pyongyang and all provinces of the country.

Performances were given by schoolchildren in South Hamgyong, North Hwanghae, Jagang and other provinces.

Colorful sports and amusement games took place at schools including Changdok School, Ryusong Junior Secondary School in Central District and other schools.

Leading officials of the party and power organs congratulated the KCU members on the anniversary.
