The expansion of NATO is a threat to the security of other countries and a grave challenge to the establishment of fair international order.

The U.S. sees the formation of NATO of Asian version as the most ideal way of realizing its strategy for dominating the Asia-Pacific.

The moves are being pushed forward with the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK as a background.

Now the U.S. is more loudly grumbling about "nuclear and missile threats" from the DPRK's than ever before.

The aim sought by the U.S. in taking issue with the DPRK's war deterrent is to knock into shape a military bloc of NATO type, contain big powers in the Asia-Pacific region through a military edge and thus realize its ambition to dominate the region.

It is calculating it can easily establish the NATO of Asian version through the expansion of the U.S.-Japan-south Korea military alliance.

It is clear to everyone that the U.S. moves to form the new military bloc in the Asia-Pacific region would further escalate the tension and make the Cold War-structure formed on the Korean peninsula spread to the other areas in the region.
