At the ceremony Guinean personages paid tribute to President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who performed undying exploits for the founding and development of the WPK.

The chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association in their speeches praised the President for authoring the Juche idea in his early years and victoriously leading the anti-Japanese armed struggle to achieve the historic cause of Korea's liberation.

They added it was unthinkable without the wise leadership of the President and Kim Jong Il that the WPK emerged as a dignified party that has taken its roots deep among the popular masses and enjoy absolute support and trust from them.
