Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt, said that under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il the WPK firmly defended the cause of socialism, effecting miracles and innovations in all fields including politics, military affairs and economy and it serves as a beacon indicating the way to be followed by the progressive political parties of the world.

The deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana said:

H.E. Kim Jong Il's history of the leadership over the party which recorded a brilliant chapter in the 70 year-long history of the WPK is a proud one of a great man who made the DPRK a focus of the world.

The great exploits performed by him in the period of leading the WPK will always be remembered by mankind along with his august name.
