Actions Staged against U.S. Moves for Bio-chemical Warfare

Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- The June 15 group of students of the Seoul preparatory committee for the joint national event staged a demonstration on June 6 to denounce the U.S. introduction of anthrax germs along the street leading to the U.S. forces base in Ryongsan.

In front of the base demonstrators demanded the U.S. properly clarify the nature of "Jupiter plan" being undertaken under the pretext of coping with "bio-chemical warfare" at U.S. forces bases in south Korea.

At the end of the demo, members of the group held a rally around the Kwanghwamun demanding an immediate revision of the SOFA.

Nearly 70 organizations of various circles such as organizations of workers, farmers, women, the poor, religionists and students held a joint press conference before the command of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces in south Korea on June 8 in protest against the U.S. moves for a biochemical warfare.

The organizations demanded the U.S. totally cancel the plan and dismantle weapons for the biochemical warfare and apologize for its crimes.
