The general secretary said that President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il were the great leaders who devoted all their lives to the freedom and happiness of the Korean people and the development of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), turned the DPRK into the invincible socialist power and made contributions to achieving the global peace and accomplishing the human cause of independence.

As led by Marshal Kim Jong Un, the WPK is growing stronger and dynamically demonstrating its dignity as the revolutionary party, he noted, adding:

The miracles of the DPRK under the leadership of the WPK are greatly encouraging the members of the Communist Party of Venezuela struggling for socialism.

The WPK has played a leading role in the struggle to defend peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of the world and advance the socialist cause.

The relations between the two parties, governments and peoples have been steadily strengthened in the joint struggle to meet all challenges of the imperialists and build socialism.

The Communist Party of Venezuela will as ever extend support and solidarity to the policies enforced by the WPK and the cause of Korea's reunification.

The party will make positive efforts to boost the long-standing friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties.
