DPRK Players Prove Successful at 2015 Asian Junior Wrestling Championship

| Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- DPRK players Jo Hyok Chol and Mun Su Jong bagged gold medals at the 2015 Asian Junior Wrestling Championship which started in India on June 11. The championship brought together more than 290 men and women players from over 20 countries and regions including the DPRK. At the 42kg men's Greco-Roman category, Jo Hyok Chol defeated his Japanese rival in the preliminaries, Turkmen rival in the quarter finals, Kazakh rival in the semifinals and Iranian rival in the finals. Mun Su Jong defeated her Kazakh and Taipei of China rivals at the 40kg women's category and trounced her Indian rival at the finals. |
