The Myanmar preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th anniversaries of the WPK and Korea's liberation said this in a press release issued at its inaugural ceremony on June 5.

It went on:

Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people, led the protracted anti-Japanese revolution to victory, liberating the country from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule and founding the WPK, the staff of the Korean revolution.

Thanks to the outstanding ideas and theories of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and their energetic guidance the WPK has developed into the mother party serving the interests of the popular masses and tested political force triumphantly advancing the revolutionary cause of Juche, and the DPRK has demonstrated its might as the socialist politico-ideological and military power and the people-centered country fully ensuring the independent rights of the people.

Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK who is successfully carrying forward the cause of the great leaders, is building the DPRK into an invincible socialist power and people's paradise where their ideal is being translated into brilliant reality.
