DPRK's Important Days to Be Marked in Britain

| Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- A British preparatory committee for celebrating the 70th anniversaries of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the liberation of Korea was formed on June 9 under the sponsorship of the Coordinating Committee of the British Friends of the DPRK. Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set the celebration period from August 1 to October 10 and decided to release the works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and to organize diverse political and cultural events including a meeting, film show, seminar and book and photo exhibition in this period. |
