The statement said that the south Korean regime interfered in a meeting for the preparations for the joint national events in early May and demanded the change of the venue of the events which had been agreed by the north, south and overseas sides and aborted the June 15 joint national events while talking about "depoliticizing the events".

This shows that the south Korean regime is the anti-reunification regime opposing national reconciliation and reunification, a regime totally denying the June 15 joint declaration, the statement said, and went on:

Furthermore, the Park Geun Hye regime openly signed the agreement on the establishment of the UN office for "human rights in the north" in Seoul this year marking the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration, and is trying to join in tripartite cooperation with the U.S. and Japan in disregard of the north-south relations by inciting confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north. This is an open challenge and insult to the June 15 joint declaration.

If the south Korean regime truly wants peace and reunification, it should have the stand of settling the reunification issue independently by pooling efforts of the Korean nation and recognizing the June 15 joint declaration and implementing it before anything else.
