S. Korean Authorities' Anti-Worker Policy Protested

| Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- Core members of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions held a press conference in Seoul on June 11 in protest against the puppet regime in its moves to retrogressively revise the structure of labor market, according to south Korean KBS. They accused the "government" of unilaterally cutting wages without consultation of trade unions and retrogressively revising the structure of the labor market which would increase part-time jobs. The Confederation would stage a general strike in case the "government" enforces the unpopular plan, they warned. At the end of the press conference more than 30 core members of the organization entered into an indefinite sit-in. |
