On June 11 a press conference was held before the general building of the "government" as part of the sit-in strikes with the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy and the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy participating.

The organizations at the conference accused the Park regime of derailing the joint national event to mark the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration under the pretext that it should be "purely event for culture and sports".

Saying that the independent reunification should be achieved By Our Nation Itself, they demanded the Park regime roll back its policy of confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north.
