The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement released on June 6 on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the WPK.

The statement noted:

When Kim Jong Il started his work at the Central Committee of the WPK, he regarded it as the greatest pleasure that he could attend on Kim Il Sung and could relieve him of his burdens.

He energetically led the work for establishing the monolithic ideological system of the leader in the whole party against machinations of the modern revisionists.

The idea and line of Kim Il Sung were fully applied to all fabrics of social life.

The days when Kim Jong Il started his work at the C.C., WPK were a decisive period in building the party and defending Korean-style socialism.
