Under the title "Political parties and public organizations of Nepal urge all countries concerned to sincerely implement the June 15 north-south joint declaration adopted in June, 2000", the statement noted:

We regard the publication of historic north-south joint declaration as a significant event of opening up a bright prospect for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea and express belief that all Koreans in the north, the south and abroad would achieve the country's reunification without fail through reconciliation and cooperation.

Once again urging all countries concerned to sincerely honor the spirit of the historic north-south joint declarations, we demand that the U.S. forces equipped with nuclear weapons be driven out of south Korea, the concrete wall that artificially divides the Korean nation into two be removed and various kinds of war drills for aggression be stopped.
