U.S. Rhetoric about "Dialogue" Denounced
|
|
Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- The assistant secretary of the U.S. State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs recently said it is north Korea, not the U.S. which denies dialogue. Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a commentary terms this shameless sophism making the profound confusing of right and wrong. Outwardly, the U.S. cries out for "sincere dialogue" but behind the scene it gets frantic in saber-rattling against the north, the news analyst says, and goes on: This proves the U.S. is not interested in dialogue and improvement of relations but is hell-bent on escalating confrontation and tension on the Korean peninsula. Due to the U.S. maneuver to stand in confrontation with the DPRK to the last, the situation on the Korean peninsula has been constantly tense, creating a danger that can lead to emergency any moment. War and confrontation can never go together with dialogue and reconciliation. Nothing can be expected from talks with those who carry dagger in their belt. If the U.S. has true willingness to hold dialogue and improve relations with the DPRK, the former has to drop its anachronistic hostile policy toward the latter. |
