They insisted that the U.S. chief executive and the commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea should make apologies for the grave situation.

They demanded the U.S. give assurances against the recurrence of the above-said crime.

They called for turning out in an all-people march, loudly chanting anti-U.S. slogans.

The ralliers held a demo.

When the police blocked their demo, they didn't give up their struggle, demanding the U.S. forces commander come out to take a letter of protest.

Enraged by the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces' arrogant attitude, the demonstrators staged a sit-in strike.
