Koreans in U.S. Call for Achieving National Reunification by Concerted Efforts

Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- The U.S. Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification released a statement on June 15 to mark the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration.

The south Korean conservative regime has denied the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and faked up false cases for confrontation including the Cheonan warship sinking case in a bid to stifle the DPRK, the statement said.

The DPRK is pursuing the Songun politics to defend itself and reunify the country, it said, adding that the south Korean regime should clearly know that the nukes of the DPRK are the shield for preventing a war.

The statement called for reunifying the country by the concerted efforts of the Korean nation, the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration.
