Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- Organizations of South Africa and Nigeria posted articles on their websites to observe the 15th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration. The South African Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in an article titled "By Our Nation Itself" said: The June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, a landmark for Korea's reunification, was published in Pyongyang in 2000. The strong spirit of independence runs through the idea of By Our Nation Itself. The U.S. doesn't hope the north and the south getting reconciled with each other and heading for reunification in unity. So, it prevents them in every way from doing so. Not only the reunification and prosperity of the Korean nation but the regional and global peace and security can be ensured only when the idea of By Our Nation Itself is held fast to and implemented. The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in an article urged the U.S. to make a bold switchover in its policy, not resorting to anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK and reckless moves for aggression. The south Korean authorities should opt for defusing tension and creating peaceful atmosphere on the Korean peninsula, not kowtowing to outsiders, the article added. |
