Present there were Minister of Public Health Kang Ha Guk, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials concerned, disabled persons and their families, Pyongyangites, members of missions of international bodies such as the European Union Programme Support, foreign diplomatic envoys and staff members of their embassies here and overseas Koreans staying in the homeland.

There were sports and amusement events.

Taekwon-Do game by deaf persons, making the round of a hurdle with eyes blindfolded, disabled children's picking of toys and other events revved up the atmosphere.

Then followed a performance presented by university students and an art group of disabled persons.

Put on the stage were piano solo "Voice of My Heart", kayagum solo "Pyongyang Nalpharam", dance trio and other diverse numbers.

Prior to the meeting, the participants looked round photos showing the successes made in the DPRK for the protection of the disabled persons.
