Pomminryon South Headquarters Calls for Holding High Banner of June 15 Joint Declaration

Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) issued a statement on June 12 calling for actions for frustrating outside forces and pro-U.S. conservative regime's moves to escalate the confrontation by the concerted efforts of the nation under the uplifted banner of the June 15 joint declaration.

The statement noted:

The present regime aborted the joint national event marking the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration, thus going against all Koreans' will for reunification.

The conservative regime denied the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and brought the north-south relations back to the era of all-out confrontation by tightening alliance with outside forces, staging anti-north nuclear war drills and blocking national cooperation and exchange.

The way out for the Korean nation is to embody the spirit of By Our Nation Itself.
