The Uruguayan newspaper La Juventud on June 5 allotted one whole page to an article titled "Immortal exploits performed by Kim Jong Il in party building" illustrated with his photo.

The paper noted that he regarded it as the most important task to develop the WPK into the party of President Kim Il Sung and successfully accomplished it in the whole period of leading the party. It went on:

Under his wise leadership, the WPK developed into the ideologically pure entity with the monolithic ideological system of the leader, into an integral organization and into the party which achieved the unity in actions.

He built the party into the one which forms the harmonious whole with the popular masses, takes care of them in a responsible manner and serves them faithfully.

The Indonesian paper International Media on June 12 in an article titled "WPK is the party which serves the people" said that the WPK always regards it as the iron rule to put the wishes and interests of the people above all and settle the matters on the basis of it.
