Among the audience were Koreans in the U.S., foreign diplomats at the UN and foreigners.

Prior to the concert, Ri Jun Mu, head of the orchestra, said it prepared the concert to commemorate the historic 15th anniversary of the event in which Kim Jong Il, chairman of the National Defence Commission, met the former south Korean President Kim Dae Jung and adopted the June 15 joint declaration.

Put on the stage were diverse numbers like trumpet solo "We Will Dedicate Our Lives to the Leader" and vocal solo "Let's Go to Mountains and Sea".

At the end of the concert, the performers and audience sang together song on the theme of reunification "Let's Meet Again".
