Service personnel, people from all walks of life and school youth and children visited the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill and portraits of smiling leaders in different places.

A revolutionary drama "A Letter from a Daughter" was staged at the National Theatre, an art performance was given by the National Folk Art Troupe at the Ponghwa Art Theatre and a circus performance of the National Circus was staged at the Pyongyang Circus Theater.

Performances were given at the Jagang Provincial Art Theater and Hamhung Grand Theater.

Artistes in the North Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces also staged performances.

There took place colorful sports and cultural events at construction sites, industrial establishments and farms across country.
