S. Korean Conservative Group Accused of Escalating Confrontation with DPRK

Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Joint Measure Committee for Discovering Remains of Civilians Killed in Sannae, Taejon during the War held a press conference outside the Taejon City Office on June 17 at which it denounced the conservative group for escalating confrontation with the DPRK, according to the south Korean newspaper Hangyore.

In a press release the organization lashed out at the "government" for working hard to convert the "freedom hall" into a place for inciting confrontation between fellow countrymen under the pretext of "recreation of cultural and historic sites".

The press release demanded an immediate stop to an act of turning the site of Taejon Prison into a center for confrontation.
