According to Jong Chol, director of the Institute, those lubricants are highly resistant to pressure in friction of machinery components.

In particular, bearing lubricant is very effective for machinery components operating in extra-high vacuum condition. With less consumption, it helps lengthen the serviceable life of bearing twice as compared with ordinary lubricants or grease.

The lubricants, totally based on local raw materials, have already been applied to various industrial establishments, winning great popularity among users.
