Austrian Body Urges S. Korean Authorities to Implement North-South Joint Declaration

| Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The Austrian Solidarity Committee of Unionists for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea sent a protest letter to the south Korean embassy in Vienna on June 15, the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration. The letter demanded a stop to all confrontation rackets including war drills the south Korean authorities stage with the U.S. against the fellow countrymen in the north on the 15th anniversary of the joint declaration. It went on: It's time to sincerely try to implement the joint declaration for the peaceful reunification of Korea. We demand the south Korean authorities immediately release prisoners who struggled for peaceful reunification of Korea. We express the belief that Korea will be reunified peacefully. |
