U.S. Moves for Bio-chemical Warfare Denounced in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- Members of civic and social measure council for denouncing illegal introduction and experiment of anthrax germ held a press conference before the U.S. embassy in Seoul on June 16 to condemn the U.S. north-targeted bio-chemical warfare. The council groups more than 50 south Korean civic organizations including the Green Federation and the Bar Association for Democratic Society.

Speakers said that the U.S. forces illegally introduced the anthrax germ into south Korea.

Tens of days have passed since the case of anthrax germ but the "government" is failing to conduct any investigation into it, they charged.

On the same day the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification held a meeting before the U.S. embassy to denounce the moves of the U.S. forces in south Korea for bio-chemical warfare.

Speakers stressed that U.S. forces' introduction of anthrax germ is for bio-chemical warfare, calling for actions for revealing the U.S. criminal atrocity.
