Hwang Myong, chairperson of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, said that the statement of the DPRK government instilled fresh hope and confidence into all the Koreans including the Koreans in Japan aspiring after Korea's reunification.

Pak Jong Song, chairperson of the Hokkaido Headquarters of Chongryon, said a shortcut to ending confrontation between the north and the south and advancing toward reconciliation and reunification lies in implementing the joint declaration as was clarified in the statement of the DPRK government in the light of the history of the national division and the acute situation prevailing on the Korean peninsula.

Ri Yong Hun, chairman of the Kanagawa Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, said that the prevailing situation urgently requires the north and the south to end the division and opt for reconciliation and reunification under the banner of the joint declaration.

Kim Yu Won, chairperson of the Ibaraki Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, evinced the will to work hard for the reunification of the nation, its cherished desire, under the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Jang Thae Ho, chairman of the Fukushima Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, said that support for and implementation of the statement of the DPRK government is precisely the way of implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

Mun Kwang Hui, chairperson of the Aichi Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, said that the officials and other Koreans of the headquarters have actively joined the people in the homeland in their endeavors to open up a wide avenue to national reunification under the banner of the joint declaration, adding that in this course they cherished the belief that reunification will come early if all Koreans pool their efforts.
