Present at the meetings were officials of the youth league and the women's union and officials concerned, youth and students, members of the women's union and persons who either experienced or witnessed the bestial atrocities committed by the U.S. imperialists and class enemies during the Fatherland Liberation War.

A meeting of youth and students took place in the Compound of the National House of Class Education.

The floor was taken by a lecturer of the house to be followed by others.

They recalled that the U.S. imperialists ignited a war of aggression in Korea 65 years ago, bringing horrible disasters and misfortunes to the Koreans.

The young people are filled with the will to take revenge upon the enemies, they said, and went on:

If the U.S. imperialists impose another war upon the Korean people, they will blow up the stronghold of the enemies and bring about the victory in confrontation with the U.S.

A meeting of members of the women's union took place in front of the Sinchon Museum. Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the women's union, made a report which was followed by speeches.

They recalled during the period of temporary strategic retreat of the Korean People's Army the U.S. aggressors perpetrated such monstrous atrocities as brutally killing over 35 000 patriots and other people in Sinchon County or a quarter of its population in less than two months.

Illusion about the U.S. imperialists and class enemies leads to death and it is necessary, therefore, to mercilessly punish the enemies with arms only, they declared, adding this is the bitter lesson taught by Sinchon. They vowed to force the enemies to pay a thousand-fold dearer price for the blood shed by the people of Sinchon.
