Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko referred to the great attention paid by Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of Korean people, to the development of traditional Russia-DPRK friendship.

She said Russia has kept friendly feelings toward neighboring country DPRK and the Russian leadership remains unchanged in its will to develop the bilateral relations onto a higher level.

All the issues concerning the Korean peninsula should be settled peacefully without fail, he noted, adding Russia would express invariable support for the DPRK at the international arenas including UN.
