S. Korean Bodies Accuse Japan of Denying Its Past Crimes

| Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- The Society of Bereaved Families of the Pacific War Victims and other civic and social organizations of south Korea held a press conference on June 22 to accuse the Japanese government of denying its past crimes, according to the south Korean KBS. Speakers at the press conference said the Japanese government is justifying Asia invasion by the Japanese imperialists and insulting those countries which fell victim to it. They demanded the Japanese government make an apology to the war victims and pay reparation to them as early as possible. They declared that the members of the above-said society would go to Japan to continue protest activities. |
