The German Communist Party said in an article titled "June 15 North-South Joint Declaration" that the north-south summit, the first of its kind in the history of Korea's division, was provided and the grand June 15 era of reunification was opened thanks to leader Kim Jong Il's patriotic bold decision.

The way of improving the north-south relations is to implement the joint declaration, the article noted.

The Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK posted an article titled "Let's open up a broad avenue to independent reunification" under the headline "On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration" illustrated with Kim Jong Il's photo.

The France-Korea Friendship Association in an article lauded Kim Jong Il for providing the historic June 15 joint declaration and great hope and prospect for the reunification of Korea.

The joint declaration is the driving force of the mutual understanding and the improvement of relations between the north and the south as it reflects the unanimous will of the Korean people hoping for peace and reunification.

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the joint declaration we call for approaching with realistic judgment the issues arising in achieving the cause of Korea's reunification and settling the reunification issue in the spirit of the joint declaration.
