The Korean war clearly proved that the U.S. imperialists are the chieftain of aggression and war and sworn enemy of the Korean people, the statement said, and went on:

History and reality patently proved that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces are chiefly to blame for harassing peace and security on the Korean peninsula.

Peace and reunification on the peninsula can never be achieved and the Koreans can hardly escape the disaster of a nuclear war unless the presence of the cursed U.S. imperialist aggressor troops in south Korea is terminated.

Now is the time for all Koreans truly concerned over the destiny of the nation and desirous of peace and reunification to turn out in a nation-wide struggle to deal sledge-hammer blows at the U.S. imperialists keen to bring the dark clouds of a nuclear war to hang over the peninsula and the puppet group of traitors bent on escalating the confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north.

The U.S. should stop acting rashly, properly understanding the spirit of Songun Korea, and unconditionally withdraw its troops from south Korea.

If the U.S. imperialists ignite another war, oblivious of the lesson drawn from their past defeat, the service personnel of the heroic Korean People's Army and people of the DPRK will give full play to the invincible might of the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army and make a clean sweep of the aggressors from this land and thus surely achieve the historic cause of national reunification, the cherished desire of the Koreans.
