Present at the ceremony were personages of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement and the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, followers of the Juche idea and students of the university.

Speakers said that today Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism serves as a beacon of hope indicating the path to be followed by the progressives in accomplishing the global cause of independence and, in particular, as an ideological and mental pillar of the African people in their struggle for achieving the political independence and building self-supporting economy.
