Talks between DPRK FM and Deputy Prime Minister of Namibia Held

Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- There took place talks between Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong, head of a DPRK government delegation, on a visit to Namibia and Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, deputy prime minister and minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia, on June 27. Present there from the DPRK side were members of the delegation and the DPRK ambassador to Namibia and from the opposite side the permanent secretary of the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation and other officials concerned. Discussed at the talks were issues of boosting the bilateral relations in various fields. On the day, the DPRK government delegation was invited to a reception hosted by the deputy prime minister who doubles as minister of International Relations and Cooperation. During its stay, the delegation laid a floral basket before the cemetery of Namibian heroes and visited the independence memorial and natural zoo. The delegation left Windhoek on June 28. |
